§ 1009. Amendments.

The planning commission will prepare and recommend land development regulations to the governing body for adoption. Amendments will be adopted by vote of the city council.

1009.1.

Public hearings. The planning commission and city council will hold a joint public hearing on any proposed amendment to these regulations. A notice shall be published in a newspaper having general circulation in the area not less than 30 days prior to the hearing (S.C. Code 1976, § 6-29-1130). Notices must be mailed to groups, which ask to be informed of such meetings.
